Unique “Three” Layout Architecture
During my seventh field sketching trip on August 24, 2025, I studied the pagoda’s “Three” (三) layout—a symbolic representation of spiritual continuity and architectural balance.

The rhythmic transition from the Main Hall to the Patriarch Hall and Lecture Hall reflects the Buddhist concept of harmony between faith, learning, and enlightenment.

Through sketching, I learned to observe not just forms, but the silent dialogue between structure and serenity. Each stroke of the pen became a meditation on symmetry, proportion, and spiritual space.
This experience strengthened my sense of architectural mindfulness, reminding me that timeless design lies in simplicity, order, and inner peace.
